A modern family run hotel in a 100-year old grain silo located in the heart of Dalsland, surrounded by waterways and forests. The Pilgrim Trail passes right by our doorstep, taking you far into the wilderness. We prepare lunch packs and help organize your hike, bike or canoe adventure. Enjoy the calmness of spring and autumn, or the buzz of summer. We love cooking with local and seasonal foods.

At Upperud 9:9 you stay in the old silo with solid wooden walls constructed by thick horizontal planks. The five unique rooms are beautifully nestled into original exposed structures where you can still find a grain of wheat or rye in the gaps between the planks. All silos have kitchen, bathroom and four beds. You can look after yourself or book your meals in the café downstairs.
